Much more than an aquarium – A centre of Conservation and Research.
Today the love of the sea and its inhabitants lives on through Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium and through the work of its dedicated staff and Directors. Their symbiosis with the sea is continually reflected in the kaleidoscopic display of marine life that is Dingle’s Oceanworld Aquarium, a project developed in association with enterprising local business people and was officially opened to the public in 1996.
To develop Dingle Oceanworld as a National and International Centre of Excellence in the care, conservation and presentation of all forms of marine life for clean seas. We will conduct research which enhances the quality of marine life and educate our visitors to the best of our ability.
