YEARLY MEMBERSHIPS

  • What happens to my yearly membership? Are there any extensions?

We will be extending your yearly membership by the length of time the aquarium has been closed as a result of Covid 19 prior to your current expiry date.

We are also adding an additional month to your membership (free of charge) as a way of thanking you for your understanding and your continued support. This extension will be applied to your yearly membership once the aquarium re-opens. Please note, members also have the opportunity to put their membership on hold until a later date. We will endeavour to accommodate you as best as possible.

  • I am a seasonal pass holder; Do I need to pre-book?

Yes. All visitors are required to pre-book their visits (due to limited capacity in the building). The health and safety of our customers is of paramount importance. Our current system in place is to facilitate the welfare of all visitors. A specific code would have been sent to your e-mail address which you will need at checkout when booking your visit (this is to ensure you are not charged for your booking). If you did not receive the code please contact us on info@dingle-oceanworld.ie quoting your membership number and name.

NOTABLE CHANGES

Exhibits:

As a consequence of adhering to social distancing guidelines and for the safety of both visitors and staff we have had to make some changes most notably:

  • A one way flow of visitors throughout the aquarium.
  • We are unable to conduct our daily talks and feeding displays for now.
  • Our Butterfly Oasis will not include butterflies until further notice due to heat & humidity required, nonetheless it will be an Oasis that will include beautiful plants and some tortoises for your viewing.
  • We are unfortunately unable to open our Kids Zone.
  • Currently our Coffee Shop will only serve take away drinks and snacks.
  • We also ask that you do now dwell for more than two hours.

There will be hand sanitising stations throughout the aquarium and at the entry and exit of the building. Please sanitise your hands when arriving and leaving the aquarium. Our staff will fully sanitise touch points in the building throughout the day, so please bare with us whilst this is being carried out.

Please arrive at time stated on your booking – not before or after as admittance will only be allowed for allocated time. Always prepare for a queue and maintain social distancing (please note we have limited our bookings to reduce queuing times)
